The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations were in full swing this weekend in England.
In keeping with her famous maximum, I have to be seen to be believed, her majesty donned a lime (some say neon) green ensemble by British dressmaker Stewart Parvin for the Trooping The Colour.

It may have been Gan Gan’s big day (as Prince George calls the Queen), but it was her youngest great-grandchild, 13-month-old Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, who stole the show.
In her first public appearance at an official royal engagement, and attired in pale-pink with an adorable side-swept hairstyle, she gave a little royal wave on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to the throngs below.
Held in her mother’s arms (Kate wore Alexander McQueen), the princess (purported to be feisty) was a case of pure cuteness.
